Sunny Murray has reinvented the drums, he plays like an athlete, going wild on the cymbals, a game full of strength and energy. Nothing is academic, it's intense and paroxysmal! This music is definitely revolutionary.

The saxophonists Byard Lancaster and Kenneth Terroade, on these burning fires, only have to fan the embers.
